Meet the Team

Ian is president of both the EMHF and the Men’s Health Forum England. A GP, former casualty doctor and author of some of the best-selling books on men’s health in the world, Ian Banks is recognised by academics and policy-makers alike as the voice of men’s health in Europe.

Susan brings to the EMHF and the yourprostate.eu project an impressive track record in the voluntary sector and women's organisations. She has worked for the NHS and was head of health information at Cancer Research UK.

Tracey has been a qualified nurse for 11 years working mainly in the urology field. For the past five years she has been at a leading London clinic specialising in everything to do with the prostate, from benign enlargement to cancer including treatment options, side effects and coping with these. Tracey answers questions from England, Scotland and Wales.

Susanne has been a registered nurse working in urology for over 20 years. She is currently the nurse manager of the urology outpatient clinic in one of Frankfurt’s leading hospitals. She is active in the European Association of Urology Nurses with a particular interest in quality management. Susanne answers questions in German.

Mario is attending urologist at one of the leading hospitals in Madrid. He is also a member of the editorial board of several major journals in the field and a fellow of the European Board of Urology. Mario answers questions in Spanish.

Karen was a urology nurse for many years in Ireland before becoming a Urology Nurse Specialist. Karen answers questions from Ireland.
